Designer Diane Freis vintage blouse

This is a beautiful and rare vintage blouse by the designer Diane Freis from the 1980s. It is cream with black swirl and beige striped print. It has lightly puffed sleeves and cut out design around the front neckline. It is in excellent condition. This top doesn't need ironing as it is a polyester georgette. Diane Freis only made ten of each design so this is a rare blouse.

ABOUT DIANE FREIS

Diane Freis's clothing was made in the 1970s and 1980s. Freis started her career by making a small number of structured jackets in the military style and selling them to a Hollywood boutique. In 1978 Freis opened her first boutique in Hong Kong with a few seamstresses. In the 1980s Freis became known for her colourful dresses in eye-catching patterns, made from easy-flowing polyester georgette. Her dresses were one-size and easy to wear, making them perfect for travel. They were limited editions - Freis produced each design in limited editions, with no more than ten of any one design distributed around the world. Her dresses were stocked in Harrods in the UK.
