Antique gold tone key 

This is an antique gold tone key in its original box. It belonged to a Mrs H Randall from Suffolk, UK. Her husband Russell Randall and her were given a key each in 1927 and this is hers. We don't know why a couple from the UK were given the 'Freedom of the City of Worcester, Mass, U.S.A' key. It is a lovely mystery! The two notes were written in 1927 by the wife who owned this key. A great gift if you live in Worcester UK or USA.

The two notes say the following:

'Russell and I were given the freedom of the City of Worcester, Mass, U.S.A in 1927. Russell' key has gone to Betty Standing (nee Randall) in Cleveland, Ohio, U.S.A. This is my key. H Randall'.

'2 Keys presented to Russell and me in 1927 when we were given the Freedom of the City of Worcester Mass, U.S.A'

On the reverse of the notes it says the following:

'Mrs. Russell Randall. Sun Home, Hotson Road, Southwold, Suffolk Tel. 2172'
