Six plates from 1950s by Ridgway
This is a stylish set of SIX black and white ‘Ridgway Furniture’ side plates from the 1950s. They have a print of various pieces of furniture and cutlery. Each plate has an 7in/18cm diameter. In the 1950s this contemporary, Homemaker range of ceramics from Ridgway Pottery was sold in Woolworths. Homemaker was a new and award-winning modern shape, called Metro, by Tom Arnold, with the pattern by designer Enid Seeney showing modern furniture and household pieces on a background of black lines. Enid Seeney designed the pattern in 1956 and called the design 'Furniture’. All six are in excellent condition. We are selling them at just £9 each.
