Dimbola Lodge (dimbola.co.uk) in Freshwater on the Isle of Wight was the home of a successful Victorian photographer called Julia Margaret Cameron. It is now a museum and gallery dedicated to her life and work, which also showcases contemporary exhibitions from photographers around the globe.
One of their current shows is the Isle of Wight Festival Exhibition and on display is a collection of rare posters, programmes, press cuttings, tickets and other memorabilia including photographs from the first Isle of Wight Festivals from 1968-1970.
Lovely's Vintage Emporium went to visit the Isle of Wight Festival Exhibition at Dimbola Lodge and below are some of the shots we took.
Enjoy the festival if you are there and if you are on the Isle of Wight or visiting then please do go take a look at Dimbola Lodge as the exhibitions are worth a visit.
