Rankin celebrates thirty years with Rizzoli book 'Unfashionable'
Rankin has released the first retrospective of his full career in fashion photography with a book that includes portraits of Heidi Klum, Gisele Bündchen and Miley Cyrus and other imagery never seen before.
“It was a mammoth task and it felt pretty impossible to get down to just 324 pages,” said the photographer Rankin of his 30th anniversary book.
Rankin’s most recent images in the new book include provocative portraits of elderly female models and photos of young and recent models like Bella Hadid for Love Magazine.
There are also all the supermodels and Nineties club kids, plus early black-and-white portrait photography from the Eighties and Nineties.
Unfashionable: 30 Years of Fashion Photography by Rankin is published by Rizzoli this week priced at £50.00 and available from all good book stores
